Ronald Orol spoke about Washington's response to the financial crisis to particpants at IMN's Third Annual Middle Atlantic State Public Employee Retirement Systems Forum on Oct. 28 in Chantilly, Virginia.

Ronald Orol was a keynote interviewer at IMN's 2nd Annual Hedge Fund Activism and Shareholder Value Summit on Sept. 22.

Orol interviewed Bruce J. Richards
President & CEO, MARATHON ASSET MANAGEMENT and Beth Ann Bovino, Senior Economist, STANDARD & POOR'S as part of an economic outlook panel entitled, "Getting Through the Storm."

Orol also participated on a panel that discussed trends in activist investing. Ronald Orol participated in a 2 pm May 7th podcast hosted by Broc Romanek on Deallawyers about activist hedge fund managers. So far roughly 425 took in the webcast live - and another 50 have listened to the archive of it.

Ronald Orol spoke April 16 to law students at Georgetown University about activist hedge funds. SEC corporate finance deputy director Brian Breheny and ex corpfin M&A director Dennis Garris, co-teach the class.

Ronald Orol is scheduled to moderate a panel of activist hedge fund managers for an event hosted by Hedgeconnection on Dec. 10. Panelists include Phillip Goldstein of BullDog Investors, Donna Anderson of T. Rowe Price and Jim Mitarotonda of Barington.
